chipped no more??? Zoom no more??? £££ no more???

Justine if you’re reading this, what happened to your fantastic blog?? And would anyone please be charitable enough to donate £1,000,000.00 to buy a Bugatti Veyron? I know the car cost £810,425.00 but I need the extra money to buy petrol and do maintenance. It does 100L of petrol in 7.5mins! If there’s a time to believe in the God of Fortune, now is the time. Maybe Jeremy Clarkson would be nice enough to let me give his Ford GT the guns. Once would be enough! Or maybe the Aston Martin V8 Vanquish. Dear god, the noise it makes is simply hair-raisingly brilliant!

Burp~

I love to just sit around and watch human interaction, especially in trying times which equates to my fascination with Battlestar Galactica. I sincerely hope someone out there other than myself is watching the series. Its epic! Everything about the series is very good, the action, the acting and story line. Superb in everyway.

I finally had the chance to watch King Kong. Peter Jackson did a very fine job of re-making and re-imagining the epic movie. Though I’m not particularly happy with Jack Black as Carl Denham. Carl Denham is suppose to be eccentric, selfish, obnoxious and some what menacing yet has that figure of attraction, like-able baddies. Yes that does sound like Jack Black, he is obnoxious, selfish and eccentric but not exactly villain material if you catch what I’m on about, I believe I’m not alone whenever I see Jack Black, you see an image of a bumbling wannabe rock star. Anyhow, I have to give credit for Peter Jackson, he did a great job in nearly every department (other than Jack Black that is). Personally I felt what was going on between Ann Darrow and the 25ft Ape. I felt sorry for the hairy beast when it fell to its death. The anxiety. And what more could I say about the action scene. Breathtakingly beautiful CGI, excellent thrills, the feeling of being lost was there in full abundance. A roller coaster ride of emotions and eye candy. Epic, simply epic!

Aeon Flux is another beautiful film. I had the pleasure of watching it on DVD. Its not exaclty fab. The storyline is rather simple. But, dear God, its such a beautiful film. The eye candy is fantastic. Its not overly littered with CGI. Just the right amount at the right places and time. Check out the little balls. Simple, but it does its job really well. I have to say its not a good example of Charlize Theron’s fantastic acting (Monster). But watching her prancing around in a leather cat suit would shut a lot of people up. I have a rather soft spot for films that center on Autocratic Societies. The whole theme itself questions our state of humanity, its part of us to be in control, yet films such as Aeon Flux or Equilibrium explores the realms of human tolerance. How much control can we have or handle? A very good question at this point of our humanity really.

Whats on my playlist today? Static X - Start A War.
