Ferrari 599 GTB German Test Driving Video

I’m not really a fan of Ferrari’s. I prefer Maserati’s or vintage Alfa Romeo’s myself. The Ferrari 599 GTB is not exactly the prettiest thing on the road but that menacing 6.0 litre V12 just oozes with ear melting symphony. Only the Italians know how to make great sounding engines with character, taking an Alfa Romeo 3.2 V6 as point, What a wonderful sound it makes. This video (in German) shows some bloke who really knows how to drive giving the Ferrari 599 GTB the boot. I absolutely respect such people who can wring maximum performance off from a car. I strongly feel that rich blokes owning supercars which are mostly kept in the garage or to be used to impress women so that they’ll have a leary one nighter are the worst sort of wankers. Supercars are meant to be driven and driven well. A well driven car is an art form. Enough of my ramblings go HERE to watch a VERY well driven Ferrari in the wets and enjoy that wonderful engine. I just wish that I can wake up every morning with that V12 singing at full song for me everyday.

Badminton is the best

So being total engrossed in badminton and assignments has taken up a huge part of my student’s time and budget. Buying shuttlecocks has been a complete bitch. Assignments taking up my mentality and sanity. I apologise if I do sound like a whiny eight year old.

I can say that my personal social life is a bit dull at the moment. Its just mostly college, staying at home, badminton and the habitual yum cha sessions with mates. But I like it like this. Frankly its a tad bit monotonous though. I do feel guilty about blowing off my friend’s invitation to watch a movie tonight. I just don’t feel like going out and frankly my wallets been going lighter and lighter due to shuttlecocks. Talking about badminton, I got so fed up with my racket and abused it, there are chips here and there, my racket is excellent, I guess its the player’s problem. I unsheathed the old grip, I’m gonna go get a new one tomorrow. Rearm my weapon so that its ready for the upcoming battle. The competition is on next monday, after gawai celebrations. I have to clear my upcoming schedule which mainly consists of assignments to make time for training mainly jogging to beef up my stamina which no thanks to cigarettes has been appalling.

Just now during dinner a person representing charity came asking for donations. Being the nice bloke that I am I donated RM7.00 worth of loose change. And I’ll let the picture explain:
Donation Receipt

Not that I’m insulting, but the guy could at least spell my name correctly.
