Strap on your boots!

The past few weeks been really slow. School work seems secondary to whatever and however I do. However starting yesterday I’ve begun to tighten up my belt. Hopefully I don’t loose steam over the next few weeks. Exams are just right around the corner.

A little treat for all here. Its a live video of A Perfect Circle playing The Noose, one of my favourite songs by this super-rock-group. I personally think Maynard James Keenan’s is really epic in this song especially paired with the fantastic (Albeit U2-ish) guitar riff. Have a look and listen.

A word of greetings to Kek whom I’ve link.

Apologies and forgiveness

First of all I’ve been rather busy which explains the lack of updates particularly. Its been nearly 2 weeks since the last post. I sincerely apologise. I’ve been slacking in school work which means I have to play catch up which is horrible. I’ll be having a fair bit of free time after next week where I finish my mid-term exams. I’ll will be getting back in setting up the photo album once I’m free as well as post on a few albums which I got my hands. For the mean time I’d like to introduce a (sadly) defunct Japanese band which I’ve accidently found out while surfing online for school in the middle of the night. Pizzicato Five. If you do have the chance please get the track Pizzicato Five - Baby Love. Yes its odd that I’ll be listening to such music where people who are close to me knows that heavy metal rocks my world instead of sappy love songs. I’ve got my soft side too, and this song hit the right note with my emotional side. If you do have the chance please get the track. I’ll guarantee you’ll love it. Pizzicato Five is a japanese duo which plays a really lovely mix of 60’s - 70’s pop mixed with a healthy dosage of acid jazz, reggae, electronic and a massive serving of easy listening pop on top. They play a wonderful mix of songs that wouldn’t stand out of place in a hip and happening club nor in your car stereo or even at your grandparents home. It somehow manages to belong to every sort of environment. Listening to Baby Love gives me a fantastic feeling after a rough day in college. The singer Maki Nomiya’s voice has a certain quality to it which I can’t really grasp. Her voice has a soothing quality to it, everytime I listen to the track it gives me soothing images and a sense of belonging. Frankly its a great change to the normal music which I listen to. I think I’m getting soft.
